A compact nightstand alternates walnut drawers, an open shelf and a dark outer frame to bring useful rhythm to the bedside.
紧凑床头柜以木色抽屉、开放层板与深色外框交替组合，为床边功能建立清晰节奏。
Why this form exists.
The small cabinet is organized as a pause between two closed volumes. The open middle shelf keeps frequently used objects visible and lightens the otherwise compact form.
小柜被组织成两个封闭体块之间的一次停顿。中部开放层让常用物品触手可及，也减轻了紧凑柜体的厚重感。
Contrast with purpose.
Walnut drawer faces glow against the dark casing, while a slim metallic line sharpens the edges. The open shelf holds shadow and gives the façade depth.
木色抽屉在深色外壳中更显温润，纤细金属线条收紧边缘；开放层承接阴影，为正立面增加真实进深。
Where the image gets difficult.
The scale is intimate, so material definition carries the image. Controlled bedside colour accents, accurate contact shadows and a restrained depth of field retain clarity without making the scene feel clinical.
床头柜尺度亲密，因此画面主要依靠材质定义。受控的床边色彩、准确接触阴影与克制景深，在保持清晰的同时避免场景过于冰冷。
